  Join us for our first event of 2025. For those of you that have not attended a Poker Run before, you collect a card at five different locations and the best hand wins a prize (they'll be awesome prizes, thanks to our friends Canberra BMW)!

  Meeting at McDonalds Molonglo on Kirkpatrick Street (1st card ). Driver briefing at 10.00am, leaving shortly after. Travel out the Cotter Road and turn right onto Brindabella Road passing Uriarra Village and turn right onto Uriarra Road (2nd card).

  Continue on Uriarra Road which turns into Fairlight Road and turn right onto Mountain Creek Road. Turn right onto Wee Jasper Road (3rd card), turn right onto Yass Valley Way (4th card) and turn right at the second round about onto the Barton Highway. 

  Lunch will be at the Murrumbateman Pub where you will collect the 5th card.

  We intend to be at the Murrumbateman Pub by 12.00-12.30. We may even do a quiz/trivia also at lunch, likelihood the topic will be on BMW. ;) 

  Please bring your UFH/CB radio if you have one, we'll have some club ones available to borrow if needed. We'll also nominate a Lead Driver and a Tail-End Charlie on the day to assist with keeping the group together (this will be a leisurely drive) . Please familiarise yourself with the route (above). 

  Registration is essential for catering. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know.

  2025 marks the second Canberra Festival of Speed and BMW ///M will be in the spotlight.

  As the local source of all things BMW, we would love to create another memorable display at the Canberra Festival of Speed, this time with the performance models in mind. January 25-26 will be our time to shine!

  We are hoping to provide a generational lineup of all M3s along with the other BMW ///M models (e.g. M1, M2, M4, M5, M6, M8/850CSi, Z3M, Z4M) as well as some of the lesser known heritage Motorsport cars like the 2002 Turbo, 3.0 CSL, E12 530MLE and M535i for the weekend. Other special models like those from Alpina, Hartge and AC Schnitzer would also be considered. For those with something incredibly unique we would love to see it as well! 

  As a celebration of the marque we would like to see cars as they came from the factory or as close as possible to standard configuration.

  If you own a Motorsport BMW and would like to see your pride and joy on display, please register and let us know what your preferences are. We will be in contact with individual registrants in due course.

• Wheels - Show & Shine 2025

  Join us for Wheels 2025, one of the region's biggest automotive events!

  Wheels charity Car, Bike & Truck show will be held at the Queanbeyan Showground on Sunday 16 February 2025. The annual display is organised by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs for it's 78 affiliated clubs.

  Wheels brings together veteran, vintage, historic, classic, and modified cars and bikes as well as modern and electric vehicles from across the region.

  Please see the below important information below to assist you on the day

  • Display entry is between 8:00am and 9:30am, and remain in place until 1:30pm - after the event award presentations.
    
    
  • Entry to the Showgrounds is via the main gate on Glebe Avenue, where Marshals will direct vehicles to the Arena.
    
    
  • The entry fee for Wheels will be $10 per vehicle - there is no admission fee for passengers or pedestrian visitors.
    
    
  • In the interest of pedestrian/visitor safety, vehicle movements within the Showgrounds Arena will NOT be permitted between 9:45am and 1:30pm.
    
    
  • Food and drink will be available on site during the day, additionally, there are several options nearby on Kings Highway (Canberra Avenue). You could even bring a picnic lunch! There are also rest room facilities on site.
    
    
  • There is limited seating, so best to bring your own camp chair/mat. We'll have the clubs marquees, you are most welcome to make use of them!
    
    
  • Vehicles EXITing the Showgrounds Arena, are to use the gate at the eastern end of the Showgrounds complex - leading onto Cooma Street.

  **Volunteers Needed** We'll need some volunteers to assist with setting up/down the club marquees, flags, lining up the cars etc. If you are able to assist, please arrive on site at 7:30am - it would be greatly appreciated.

  Wheels 2025 is being held in conjunction with the Queanbeyan Markets.
  Wheels will be located within the Showgrounds Arena, while the Markets are located at the western end of the Showgrounds complex. There will be craft, jewellery, fashion, homewares and plenty of food & drink stalls; thereby benefiting all who attend for either event.

  BMW Drivers Club Melbourne are hosting the BMW Clubs Australia Nationals based at the Mercure WestWaters Entertainment Complex in Caroline Springs on the 24th - 27th of April 2025.

  The BMW Clubs Australia Nationals is a chance for members of BMW car clubs across Australia to meet up and enjoy each other's company and attend some great events. The BMW Nationals are run every 2 years with a different State/Territory hosting the event each time.

  **You MUST register on the Nationals website to attend!**

  We’ll organise a trip from Canberra for those wanting to convoy together to the Nationals. In addition to your Nationals registration, please register your interest in this event for our visilibity and to help coordinate closer to the event.

  The BMW Nationals are great fun. The events, motorsport and sight seeing are awesome.... And it's alway great to catch up with old friends and make new ones along the way!
