I am pleased to advise that the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the BMW Car Club Canberra will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 21 November 2023 in the MacDonald Room (upstairs) at the Eastlakes Football Club, 3 Oxley Street in Kingston. While the meeting starts at 7.30pm, there will be complimentary hot snacks in the MacDonald Room from 7pm. Come along and take the opportunity to meet fellow members and influence the direction of your Club.
The agenda for the AGM will be:
- Confirmation of the minutes of the previous 2022 AGM (held November 2022)
- President’s Report
- Financial Report
- Election of Committee (as per section 8 of the Constitution of the BMW Car Club Canberra)
- General Business
During the AGM, an election will take place to appoint the President and Committee for the 2023-2024 year. All current financial members are encouraged to nominate for committee positions which are listed below.

Only financial members as at Tuesday 21 November 2023 are eligible to vote. If you are unable to attend the AGM, you may choose to nominate a proxy to vote on your behalf, submit a nomination or send a postal vote, however these must be lodged with the Secretary by emailing secretary@bmwclubcanberra.org.au. You can also nominate on the night. If you wish to raise a notice of motion at the meeting, please email your motion to the Secretary by Monday 23 October 2023.
Function Attendee Information for entering an Eastlake Group Venue
There is free parking available, enter the carpark via the boom gate next to the club and make sure to validate your parking ticket at reception on your way out.
- All attendees must present to Reception on arrival.
- Eastlake Members can present/show their members card to our Receptionist, and head into the function space.
- Non-member attendees must present photo ID (licence/proof of age card preferred) to the Receptionist and be signed in, before heading to the function space.
Please Note: When signed into the venue as an attendee of a function, please be aware you are excluded from using any of the venue’s gambling facilities (poker machines & TAB).
