The Spanish Australian Club in Narrabundah has long been a great supporter of Canberra’s motoring community, providing a home and meeting place for local car clubs and hosting countless motoring events. 

This month, we’d like to return some of that support.

On the first Sunday of each month, the Spanish Club comes alive for its traditional Spanish Market Day, with breakfast, imported Spanish produce and their famous communal paella lunch.

We’ll meet at the Club in the morning, park up together and settle in for freshly cooked churros and thick Spanish hot chocolate.

Spanish Market Day

Breakfast | 8:00 am – 10:30 am

Start the morning with freshly cooked churros, dusted with sugar or cinnamon sugar and served with wonderfully thick Spanish hot chocolate.

Spanish Market | 8:00 am – 11:30 am

Take some time to explore the Club's Spanish food market, where you'll find an assortment of Spanish favourites including chorizo, morcilla, jamón, cheeses, seafood, paella rice, spices and other imported Spanish produce.

Paella Lunch | from 1:00 pm

If you'd like to make a day of it, stay on for one of the highlights — the Club's traditional communal paella lunch.

Huge pans of paella are prepared for members and visitors to enjoy together, with both traditional and vegetarian options available.
